- Abdalghani Mushtaha (Abed) earned his master in computer science from the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, where he is currently doing his PhD. He is a member of Web & Information System Engineering (WISE) laboratory. His dissertation focuses on the cultural differences and its effects on Website design.

- His research interests focuses on cultural aspects of Human Computer Interaction.

- He started in 2008 till now, working at the Sony Europe (with Customer Satisfaction Europe group), on the webpage called Knowledge Web.

- He has received some awards and grants including:

• The Belgian Technical Cooperation (BTC), 
• Best ECommerce portal (Awarded by the UNDP), and
• Best Scholar Award for best PhD research project (Awarded by the Localisation Research Center, Ireland).
