Paper-Enhanced Mobile Crowdsourcing
Type of Thesis:
Master Thesis The lastest version of the Echo Smartpen can host and execute applications on the pen. In a previous project, we have investigated the feasability of Echo Smartpen for paper-digital maps. This project will build on the existing paper-digital map prototype and investigate how the natural pen and paper map interaction can be used for annotating other sensor data and provide a simple and convenient solution for creating the supplementary metadata in participatory sensing and mobile crowdsourcing.

Background Knowledge:
- Java
Technical challenges:
- You will learn about the iPaper framework and digital pen and paper technology
- You will learn about geographical information systems (GIS)
- You will learn about participatory sensing and mobile crowdsourcing solutions
- You will learn about innovative forms of human–computer interaction (HCI)
