Visualization to Support Transparency and Interaction

We are researching visualisation techniques to support interaction of end-users with a wide variety of applications. Examples are visual interfaces for intelligent serious games that track behaviour of player and that automatically provide a debriefing of the game, and an app to track and calculate the eye lens radiation dose received by interventional cardiologists.

Focus is on visualisations to provide transparency of the typical ‘black-box’ behaviour of intelligent systems and to enable end-users to help steer this process.
