As part of her PhD research, Sandra developed new interaction techniques for emerging PIM systems and at the same time to offer mechanisms for digitally augmenting a user's existing organisational structures (e.g. piles of papers) in order to guide and help users in managing and re-finding their physical and digital information items. Additionally, she investigated how context awareness can be integrated in PIM systems from a user-centric viewpoint. By providing a unified perspective on our personal information space and by including a context-aware component, she developed a solution to help users in keeping, organising and re-finding their information which provides the right personal information at the right time and across physical and digital information spaces.
Sandra founded Innoty in 2018 where she is currently developing solutions to improve our daily tasks.
