The WISE lab has a vacancy for a teaching assistant / PhD position in the research team of Prof. Dr. Beat Signer. The position is for a maximum duration of 6 years (3 x 2 years, with a renewal after a positive evaluation). You will be in charge of the teaching of exercises, assisting with labs and projects in the Bachelor of Computer Science (e.g. courses on Databases or Web Technologies) as well as specialised courses in the Master’s programme in the domain of Web & Information Systems (e.g. courses on Next Generation User Interfaces or Advanced Topics in Information Systems). As part of your PhD, you are further expected to conduct research in the domain of Mixed Reality, Data Physicalisation or Cross-Media Information Solutions.

The expected start date is October 1, 2018 (deadline is June 24).
